Cystadlaethau a Chwisiau
Over half the primary schools in Cardiff take part in the annual Road Safety Quiz. Road Safety staff conduct preliminary rounds in participating schools where pupil involvement throughout the whole school is encouraged.
The annual road safety quiz competition commences in January of each year with three knock-out rounds held between January to April.
Participating schools are supplied with road safety packs, which contains all the relevant learning material.
- The first round comprises of questions on pedestrian safety.
- The second round covers cycling safety
- The third round features questions of road signs and markings.
The semi-finals and finals are currently held in St. Mark's Church Hall, Gabalfa in May. Pictured, the 2008 Cardiff School's Road Safety Quiz champions Lansdowne Primary School.
