Road Safety Quiz
Each year a large number of schools in Cardiff participate in the annual Road Safety Quiz. Road Safety staff conduct preliminary rounds in participating schools where pupil involvement throughout the whole school is encouraged.
The annual road safety quiz competition commences in January of each year with three knock-out rounds held between January to April.
Participating schools are supplied with road safety packs, which contain all the relevant learning material.
The first three rounds comprise a mixture of questions on pedestrian safety, cycling safety, road signs and markings and a new topic, the history of road safety.
The final will be held at the new Road Safety Centre, Maindy in early June 2010. Pictured, the 2009 Cardiff School's Road Safety Quiz champions, St. Philip Evans R.C. Primary School with Executive member for Traffic and Transportation. Councillor Delme Bowen.
