Walk to school events
Cardiff Council Road Safety Unit promotes annual national Walk to School weeks and events. A variety of literature, including stickers, posters and other promotional material is available for this purpose free from the Road Safety Centre.

Walking is fun, healthy and provides important daily exercise for children. If you can also help reduce traffic, noise, congestion and pollution near schools.

Caerau Nursery School in Ely complied a book (pictured) as a record of their Walk to School week in 2007. The commitment of parents, carers and the children made the event a great success.
